I am an artist living in the North East of England, Newcastle to be precise. I came here to study and never left. I like it here I find the people friendly and the quality of air and water better then London where I grew up.
Im not sure exactly how this blogging thing works but basically I am going to use this page to post updates and information on new artwork that I am in the process of making or have made and hopefully to share ideas and useful information.
My main art practice revolves around relief prints, but I also work in glass and oil paints. Id rather show you than just talking about it so if you like what you see feel free to coment or drop me a line. Thanks. ๐

Oh mashaallah. It’s just a name I made up
I have been to Newcastle once… I was there as part of a music tour that took us to The Gateshead Sage. I remember the music group wanted to have dinner one day on a weekend. We thought there was a carnival of some sort because people were walking in the uphill streets, singing, wearing costumes and masks. We asked the restaurant cashier about the occasion, he said this is how it was every weekend. I love telling this story ๐ Also love England so much – glad I discovered your blog! Would love for you to visit mine on https://yaansoon.wordpress.com
Oh, and I’ve also been to Morocco. Casablanca to be more specific… I love the Moroccan aesthetic, it’s just so beautiful!
Thank you for visiting my blog. ๐
