Art For Syria Auction

Salam, peace!

On the 19th July 2014 I started an event on Facebook called Art for Syria Auction . For some time now I have been trying to do a fundraiser with Human Appeal and crawling slowly along alhamdolillah. I came up with the idea for an auction because my house is so full of art I’m running out of space! (Well I was before doing the auction)

So far I have sold 17 artworks with 100% donation going to my fundraiser. Each auction runs for 7 days and then the winner is announced on the event page. Payments are made directly to my Just Giving Page and buyers pay postage.

So far I have raised £261, that’s about £15.35 for each artwork sold so there are real bargains to be had. Here are some of the artworks sold and selling  so far:

If you’re not interested in buying any art but would like to donate to my fundraiser you can here.

If you would like to know more about Human Appeal  and their work please click here.

Please visit my Facebook page and like and save to keep up to date with my activities.

Thanks for visiting

JazakAllah khair

Ramadan Day 27 Racing Towards Good Deeds

As you may or may not know giving charity in Islam is strongly encouraged even if it is something as small as a mustard seed or something as simple as smiling at someone. This is not only for Ramadan but everyday of a Muslims life. However as Ramadan is the month of blessings we strive to do as many acts of charity and other good deeds as we can. There are only two or three days left and Muslims are emptying their pockets and even their bank accounts to help those in need.

I am still raising money to send trucks of flour to Syria so that the people there can make bread which is their staple food. I’m very far off my target but inshaAllah (Allah willing) will get there. If you do have a contribution you can click on the Just Giving link to the right to donate online or you can make a contribution via text by texting YEZZ78 and then the amount that you want to donate to 70070.

Thank you in advance. 🙂 JazakAllah khair (May Allah reward you with good)

The Prophet (Peace be upon him) has said: “To smile in the company of your brother is charity. To command to do good deeds and to prevent others from doing evil is charity. To guide a person in a place where he can not get astray is charity. To remove troublesome things like thorns and bones from the road is charity. To pour water from your jug into the jug of your brother is charity. To guide a person with defective vision is charity for you.” (Bukhari)

The Prophet (Peace be upon him) has said: ‘Sadaqah (charity) does not decrease wealth.’ (Muslim)

Ramadan Day 13 Just Giving

Who spend [in the cause of Allah ] during ease and hardship and who restrain anger and who pardon the people – and Allah loves the doers of good; Al-Imran:134

I have made a just giving page as I have been trying to raise money for Syria. The cause is very dear to my heart, as is every cause that involves people suffering injustices but we have to start somewhere. I have a button to the right that links to my page where you can donate so please do so even of its only £1. Every penny or whatever your currency is that you give is well appreciated.

I am donating all profit of sales of my art and other handmade items such as books for this cause. Check out my Etsy shop

May Allah reward you will good.

Yezarck Catalogue for Syria Fund Raiser

As you know the crisis in Syria is getting worse day by day and many people are losing their lives, families and homes. There is also a dire need for food for those who manage to get to camps and other places of safety and the Syrian regime have deliberately closed bakeries and are targeting people who come to buy food.

I am desperate to do my best to help so I would like to raise £50,000 which will pay for 5 food trucks will will inshaAllah feed more than 5000 people for a month.

Ramadan is coming up. Just think how will they be spending it? SubhanAllah it is heartbreaking. Please if you are interested in my artwork then spread and share with your friends and contact me with your orders. ALL PROFITS are going towards my fund raising target for Syria.
